Daftar 133 Obat Sirop yang Aman Dikonsumsi dari BPOM, Bebas Cemaran EG & DEG

Solopos.com, SOLO — Badan Pengawasn Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) baru saja merilis 133 merek obat sirop yang aman dikonsumsi karena bebas mengandung cemaran etilen glikol (EG) dan dietilen glikol (DEG).

Hal tersebut tertuang dalam Penjelasan BPOM RI No. HM.01.1.2.10.22.172 tanggal 22 Oktober 2022 tentang Informasi Kelima Hasil Pengawasan BPOM terkait Sirop Obat yang Tidak Menggunakan Propilen Glikol, Polietilen Glikol, Sorbitol, dan/atau Gliserin/Gliserol.

“BPOM telah melakukan penelusuran data registrasi terhadap seluruh produk obat bentuk sirup dan drops. Dari penelusuran tersebut, diperoleh data sejumlah 133 sirop obat yang tidak menggunakan propilen glikol, polietilen glikol, sorbitol, dan/atau gliserin/gliserol sehingga aman sepanjang digunakan sesuai aturan pakai,” bunyi rilis BPOM dalam situs resminya.
